Clonal Hematopoiesis in Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

This webinar presents research findings on clonal hematopoiesis in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL), hosted by Mission Bio and presented by Dr. Deborah Piffaretti. The study analyzed 387 DLBCL patients and found that clonal hematopoiesis mutations were present in 38% of cases but did not significantly impact clinical outcomes or disease progression. Using Mission Bio’s Tapestri single cell DNA sequencing platform, researchers demonstrated that clonal hematopoiesis mutations and DLBCL driver mutations were mutually exclusive at the cellular level, with CH mutations confined to microenvironmental cells rather than malignant B cells. The research included in vitro experiments showing that while TET2-deficient macrophages displayed inflammatory signatures, they did not enhance lymphoma growth. The webinar includes an introduction to Mission Bio’s single cell multi-omics platform and its applications in cancer research, followed by the detailed research presentation and a Q&A session addressing the added value of single cell analysis over bulk sequencing methods.
