Single-cell multi-omic analysis of SNV, CNV, and protein expression

Aik Ooi

Although precision medicine is making highly promising advances, researchers still face the major technical challenge of disease heterogeneity. Single-cell technologies have greatly enhanced the degree to which sample diversity can be investigated, enabling the selection of appropriate molecular targets. Applying multi-omics analysis on single cells would further improve the understanding of cell-to-cell heterogeneity by providing unique insights on cellular and genetic composition. This poster presents the process of Mission Bio’s Tapestri Platform, which enables high-throughput targeted DNA sequencing in single cells to obtain single-nucleotide variation (SNV) and copy number variation (CNV) information. A new multi-omics workflow developed to detect protein expression in addition to DNA genotype in the same cells is also presented.
